ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Writing has always been a hobby for Luke Delaney. However, it was not always something they thought they could make a living with. After winning a short story competition in 2000, they realized they had something valuable to share with the world and turned to writing full time.

Since turning their passion into a profession, Luke Delaney has written prolifically and is constantly exploring new themes, genres and ideas. It’s incredibly hard work, but they're never happier than when they sit down at their desk putting the opening words to a new book or story on paper.

Luke Delaney joined the Metropolitan Police Service in the late 1980s and his first posting was to an inner city area of South East London notorious for high levels of crime and extreme violence. He later joined CID where he investigated murders ranging from those committed by fledgling serial killers to gangland assassinations.
